They saved me! Listen to this, TWO hotels in Rapid City gave my reservations away on Memorial Weekend. The man working there had to stay two and a half hours after his midnight shift ended to check me in, and he DID STAY! I checked in at 2:30am. That is what I call customer service! Also, they have a nice pool, Tesla chargers, and great pizza place next door. This hotel has a cool "new old west" vibe.

We had been on the road for hours on our way home from Montana to Georgia. Everything was booked. It was so late. We were tired and the lady at the desk was so very sweet and helpful. The place is a bit older but everything was clean. The breakfast was very good. Highly recommended

Been staying here for 20+ years during the annual pheasant hunt. Owners are super friendly and accommodating. Clean rooms, great little pool and hot tub, and a good adjoining pizza place. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in town.

A little unexpected really. Location throws you off BUT DONT LET IT. At first glance the town seems a little...... well I guess old in age. But this stunning slice of country housing is just what the sole needs especially when there is just so much stress going on and you need a little breather. The room (we are currently in room 302) is so impeccable with their space, their unbelievably soft and comfortable beds, a bathtub that is not shallow like most other hotels (great for them soaking baths that your body needs to relax.). The staff is so sweet and friendly and pet loving. YES YOUR PETS ARE WELCOME WITH NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE... Just mind, no pets on the furniture. The lobby which is only the 2nd incredible view that will greet you after you are welcomed with such a breath taking arrival as you pull in. I sure know that I am glad that I listened to my gut and heart when we decided to stay here at this wonderful Lodge. So please don't hesitate. Make that reservation and come and enjoy their pool spa and their pizzeria. Yes the town is small but has a big heart. Much love from an Alaskan sole.

We were on a bus tour and when we arrived they rolled out the red carpet for us. Rooms were very comfortable as were the beds. Very good breakfast and staff was wonderful!

For about 5 years now we’ve been stopping here on our return trip of a long vacation. We’ve tried many hotels between Wall and Minnesota and this is the best, so now we always go here. Very clean and relaxing. In the evening we walk to the Buffalo Bar for their fabulous buffet.

Very nice and clean hotel with great service. The Continental breakfast was good, mostly because they added scrambled eggs and sausage. Would definitely recommend, especially because they're locally owned.

Was skeptical of this hotel when driving into town as it did not give off a good vibe. However, the hotel was great! The staff was friendly. Room was VERY clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. (3 back surgeries and most hotel beds don't mix) This hotel has been updated. This is only a suggestion, not a complaint, but the bathroom (my husband requires mobility accessible room)has no table/cabinet to place clothing. It could use a small table to place clothing on or a couple of hooks to hang a change of clean clothes. I prefer to dress in private after showering, lol. Many rooms with exterior doors. If you like to back up to the door to unload the car you may want to call first to see if one is available. There is a 4% extra charge when paying with a card. No mention of this when making reservations on external website Town not to great but this hotel was a little diamond in the rough. We will definitely stay here again!!
